Shooting of Stranger Things, which was suspended due to the pandemic, has resumed. Stranger Things season 4 may hit the screen next year.

As it is known, Netflix decided to stop all series and movie productions in North America due to the coronavirus epidemic, and accordingly, the production of the 4th season of Stranger Things, which was in the preliminary phase, was suspended in March. With the gradual return to normal after quarantine, Netflix has restarted the production of TV series such as Sex Education and The Witcher, which were shot in the UK. Netflix, which recently adapted the same process to Stranger Things and created a new shooting schedule for the series, was planning to start the tomorrow shooting of the 4th season on September 17th. Although the resumption of shooting was a little later than planned, the 4th season filming was finally resumed.

With the sharing made on the official Twitter account of Stranger Things, it was announced that the shooting of the 4th season has started again. Few of the shots were made before production was suspended due to the pandemic. That’s why the 4th season shootings will be held from today. For now, it remains unclear how big the impact this delay caused by the pandemic will have on the airing date of the series. However, the fact that shooting has started again makes us think that the highly anticipated 4th season of the series may come to the screens next year.

David Harbor, who gave life to Hopper in the past months, announced that the series is normally planned to air in the first months of 2021, but this date will most likely be delayed because they had to pause production. In Season 3 of Stranger Things, our main characters are once again faced with monsters from the Upside Down; After what happened to Hopper at the end of the season, the Byers Family decided to leave Hawkins, with Eleven with them. Mike, Dustin, and Lucas remained in Hawkins. The fact that our characters will be out of Hawkins shows that different and dark adventures await us. Duffer Brothers, the creators of the series, also say that season 4 will be their biggest and scariest season. We will wait and see whether the Duffer Brothers will be able to fulfill this promise.
